 Wood Furniture
This furniture exclusively handcrafted for
Silkroute Int. SFO. The techniques used by the
artisans were developed century’s ago, and it is
to be treated as an exclusive and original
piece-with love and care. Human hands have created
this piece and thus each piece is only slightly
varied in finish, size and detail. Small shakes
and cracks in this wood are an inherent part of
the wood itself and should not be seen as defects.
Polish regularly with natural Bee Wax or Devon Oil
for it to look good for many years.
Swat Valley Furniture
Swat Valley, with its rushing torrents, lakes,
flowered slopes and orchards lies in the North
West Pakistan. It used to be called Udayana, or
the Garden. A distinctive school of sculpture and
art flourished in the Swat Valley region during
the sixth through the tenth centuries. The relics
of these ancient civilizations can still be seen
in the shape of sculptures, articles and furniture
of daily use made of iron, copper, wood and
ceramics, even today. Wooden furniture consists of
doors, door-frames, pillars, chests, bowls and
other day to day use objects. These items are hand
crafted and engraved individually for their
personal uses.

Furniture
This furniture exclusively handcrafted for Silkroute Int. SFO. The

Traditional designs and it is to be treated as an exclusive and
original piece of art. Human hands have created this piece and

Rajasthan Furniture
Rajasthan, the desert state in north western India, has a very
rich and vivid heritage, just like rest of India. The remnant of
this ancient culture and heritage can still be seen in the shape
of sculptures, articles and furniture of daily use made of iron,
copper, wood and ceramics, even today. Wooden furniture consists
of doors, door-frames, pillars, chests, bowls and other day to day
use objects. These items are hand crafted and engraved
individually for their personal uses. Many of the items are
genuinely old but some of them, although may be new but they are
an intelligent mix between tradition and the modern western
designs.
